Body - High quality plastic resin, hand reamed and finished by Fox craftsmen. Sliver plated posts and bands. Mechanism - 18% nickel silver keys with heavy silver plating. Simplified plateau system with low Bb key and resonance keys. Cork pads on C#, Eb and above. Teflon tipped adjusting screws. Tuning - Individually hand tuned to A440 pitch at 72°F, with maximum resonance projection.

Handmade modified conservatory mechanism including left hand F, alternate C, and articulated C(sharp), with the exception of the split ring E(flat)-E trill key, A(flat)-B(flat) adjustment mechanism, 3rd octave key, and low B(flat) vent key. Cork pads on low C and above, F(sharp) key tab, Teflon tipped stainless steel adjusting screws. Accessories include a French-style student instrument case, reed and reed case, silk swab, and cork grease.
